The demolition of a residential building destroys an existing structure and simultaneously creates unique objects. These remnants of the structure form "buildings" of their own. They are of fleeting nature, as they are usually quickly removed from the site to make room for a new building.
The photographer (.Thomas) managed to gain access to the demolition site just before the debris was removed.
The pictures were shot on XP2 chromogenic Black and White film with a Mamiya C3 medium format camera. Additionally, reflectors and a tripod were used.
